Lipopeptide 200mg

A lipopeptide is a molecule which basically consists of lipids that are connected to a peptide; they are even able to self-assemble into different structures.

This ability allows for incredible versatility, giving lipopeptides the ability to be used in the creation of antibiotics, toll-like receptor agonists, antifungal and hemolytic activities; they can also interact with plasma membranes and display bactericidal activity.

Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 200mg

CAD $294.80
In many different online sources, this peptide has been incorrectly referred to as Acetyl-Hexapeptide-3, which became a common, household name for it (this is why we still refer to it as such, to avoid confusing our customers), but it’s scientific name is acetyl hexapeptide-8 (also going under the original trade name Argireline).   This peptide is known for its water-binding and skin-restoring abilities; this is why it’s found such a wide application in the skincare industry.

Decapeptide-12 200mg

CAD $321.60
Decapeptide-12 is a synthetic peptide, which acts as tyrosinase inhibitor (tyrosinase  is actually a group of enzymes that contribute to the skin pigmentation process and skin melanin regulation).   Decapeptide-12 was developed at Stanford University and created as a means of promoting the expression of melanin in hopes of fighting skin hyperpigmentation and dark spots.   Though we are still missing large scale scientific studies, some preliminary data shows positive results.

Syn-AKE 200mg

CAD $287.70
Syn-AKE is an anti-wrinkle active peptide compound which is based on a synthetic tripeptide. This synthetic peptide mimics the effects of Waglerin 1, which is a naturally occurring peptide found in the venom of the temple viper (Tropidolaemus wagleri). This synthetic peptide became a useful ingredient in cosmetics because it reduces muscle cell contractions, which is vital in smoothing mimic wrinkles. The only downside being, of course, this effect is short-lasting and reversible. Nonetheless, Syn-AKE is being used more and more in anti aging and wrinkle defying skincare formulations.

GHK 200mg

CAD $201.00
GHK is a peptide naturally found in human plasma, urine and saliva. Naturally occurring GHK is responsible for both collagen stimulation and breakdown as well as modulating the activity of both metalloproteinases and their inhibitors.   Besides collagen synthesis, GHK also stimulates dermatan sulfate, chondroitin sulfate and decorin. It is known that this peptide is capable of regulating at least 4000 hormones in the body and, as such, it found a wide application, even in the world of cosmetics.

Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5 200mg

CAD $281.40
Due to their ability to interact with sensitive skin, cosmetic peptides started to stand out as one of the go-to ingredients in the skincare industry. Another thing making them stand out even more, is the fact they are highly potent even at lower dosages. One such peptide is palmitoyl tripeptide-5, which you can buy at Peptide.Shop. What Is Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5? This is a synthetic peptide which mimics the sequence of the protein Thrombospondin I (TSP-1) fragment, presenting the sequence N-(1-oxohexadecyl)-L-lysyl-L-valyl-L-lysine. Initially, this tripeptide was produced with the help of solid-phase synthesis. But, since this mode of production caused significant cost and pollution to the environment, two different liquid methodologies were introduced. What Does It Do? Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5 was hypothesized to reduce metalloproteases (MMP’s) expression and pro-inflammatory cytokine synthesis; these effects result in vasodilation and increased capillary permeability. This is why this cosmetic peptide was first used as an ingredient in products designed to reduce skin redness in type I rosacea. It was also used in anti aging cosmetic products, formulas for sensitive skin, as a type I and II collagen synthesis promoter, as well as a melanin production inhibitor (aimed at reducing tyrosinase activity). How Effective Was Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5? As mentioned through the text, for some of these studies we only have the basic information and can not conclusively say how effective this tripeptide really was. Luckily, we have one animal study done in vitro, that showed Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5 therapy significantly decreased collagen breakdown process.
